25 Gyeongnam Companies Participate in CES…Grinetta and IntelliVIX Win Innovation Awards
Gyeongsangnam-do achieved tangible results in targeting the global market by showcasing the competitiveness of its small and medium-sized digital and artificial intelligence (AI) companies at CES 2026, the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition.
From January 6 to 9, South Gyeongsang Province dispatched 25 promising future-oriented companies in fields such as digital technology, AI, robotics, smart cities, and XR to CES 2026 in Las Vegas, supporting technology exhibitions and overseas business development.
Among them, software company Grinetta and AI integrated monitoring company IntelliVIX won CES 2026 Innovation Awards, demonstrating the technological capabilities of Gyeongnam-based companies on the global stage.
Grinetta received high recognition in the XR, metaverse, and digital twin sectors for its AI-based ultra-lightweight 3D data compression and automatic generation technology, which compresses large files by up to 99.6% while maintaining precision. IntelliVIX was evaluated for significantly enhancing urban safety and operational efficiency at industrial sites through its world-first technology that analyzes CCTV footage and automatically converts it into textual reports.
Gyeongsangnam-do implemented its overseas expansion strategy by organizing business consultations and on-site meetings with global buyers and investment firms, centered around the KOTRA Integrated Korea Pavilion. The province also supported global market entry for local companies by covering CES participation fees, airfare and logistics costs, as well as public relations and marketing activities.
Lee Mi-hwa, Head of the Industry Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do, stated, “The CES 2026 Innovation Awards demonstrate the potential of Gyeongnam as a global hub for manufacturing and AI.” She added, “We will continue to expand support for companies leading the global market, with a particular focus on physical AI.”
