"Industrial AI for SMEs' Great Innovation"

1. Background

1) Industrial AI to revolutionize traditional industries and advance industrial upgrading

- There is a global trend of transitioning analog systems to digital. However, SMEs in South Korea are significantly lagging in digital and AI transformation. To address this, the Seoul Central&Southern AI Business Cooperative aims to take the lead in promoting digital and AI adoption.

- The cooperative will analyze the current business conditions of SMEs and derive concrete strategies for AI integration.

2) Comprehensive industrial AI education for SMEs to enhance capabilities

- Many SMEs lack AI experts and have insufficient information on how to integrate AI into their operations. Therefore, education is necessary to improve productivity and efficiency using AI.

- The cooperative will collaborate with the Korea Federation of SMEs Seoul Headquarters and other organizations to conduct regular training programs and informational sessions.

3. Pursuing Common Interests for Cooperative Members

- By fostering collaboration among AI companies, synergy effects can be maximized.

- Joint purchases, shared education programs, and collective seminars will be conducted to strengthen AI business marketing efforts.

- Additionally, collaborative projects will be promoted to develop industry-specific AI solutions for SMEs.

2. Objectives

1) Elevating Korean SMEs to a World-Class Level with industrial AI

- As the first AI-related business cooperative in South Korea, the Seoul Central & Southern AI Business Cooperative seeks to accelerate AI adoption among SMEs and lead technological integration.

- By facilitating cooperation between traditional industries lacking AI expertise and AI companies, SME competitiveness will be enhanced.

- The cooperative will work towards policy improvements, government support, and resolving challenges essential for industrial AI development in SMEs.
