IntelliVIX Wins “Safety AX Innovation Award” at 2025 NIPA Partners Day

IntelliVIX (CEOs Choi Eun-soo and Jang Jung-hoon), a video analysis AI company, announced on the 26th that it won the Safety AX Innovation Award at 2025 NIPA Partners Day, hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The event was held on November 25 at L Tower in Seoul, where IntelliVIX was recognized for its achievements in a domestic AI semiconductor-based on-device AI demonstration project for forest fire early warning and autonomous safety control.

IntelliVIX has advanced intelligent video monitoring technology based on Generative AI and has contributed to the establishment of safer environments across public, industrial, and national defense sectors. Built on a domestic AI semiconductor NPU developed by Mobileint, the awarded technology analyzes real-time CCTV footage to detect abnormal situations and enhances analysis accuracy through VLM (Vision Language Model)-based object verification. When an event occurs, the AI explains the situation in natural language and automatically generates monitoring logs, significantly improving operational efficiency. GIS-based visualization technology is also applied to enable intuitive understanding of on-site conditions.

The technology was developed by applying Mobileint’s domestic AI semiconductor NPU and is characterized by reduced dependence on foreign GPUs, while improving image processing speed and energy efficiency through a high-efficiency computing architecture. As a result, it was highly evaluated for realizing a lightweight AI analytics environment applicable across diverse safety fields.

By introducing a Generative AI-based monitoring system, IntelliVIX overcame the limitations of conventional manual surveillance methods and reduced response delays through automated real-time analysis and event summarization. It also improved workforce efficiency by automating repetitive monitoring tasks and establishing an AI-driven prediction and reporting system. This technology aligns with IntelliVIX’s vision for safety innovation and clearly demonstrates its role as a technology company dedicated to strengthening public safety.

Choi Eun-soo, CEO of IntelliVIX, stated, “This award validates the technological capabilities we have accumulated through a wide range of public and private R&D projects. We will continue to innovate by strengthening our AI technology competitiveness and prioritizing the safety of citizens, contributing to national technological advancement and industrial development.”
