VIRNECT Operates AI Safety Management System at the 2025 Suwon Youth Festival

VIRNECT Supports Real-Time Safety Control at the 2025 Suwon Youth Festival with AI-Based “Bodycam + Remote” Solution

VIRNECT, an industrial XR and AI company, provided an AI-based “Bodycam + Remote” control solution for the 2025 Suwon Youth Festival, held at the Suwon Youth Culture Center on October 25, to support the operation of real-time safety control systems for on-site security teams.

The event was a large-scale outdoor festival attended by about 2,000 teenagers and citizens, where VIRNECT collaborated with security companies to establish a real-time situational awareness and integrated control system covering the entire venue.

During the event, video footage from bodycams worn by security personnel was transmitted to the control center in real time. The center used AI-based density analysis to identify congested areas and immediately adjusted on-site responses. In addition, the bodycams were not simple recording devices but two-way communication tools (“Remote”), enabling direct interaction between field personnel and the command center to enhance response speed and accuracy.

VIRNECT’s remote-based system provides real-time voice and video communication functions that can replace traditional radio communication, while also serving as mobile CCTV for securing on-site visibility and enabling remote collaboration among staff in emergencies. It also supports infrared (IR) monitoring for night-time operations.

The system played a key role in ensuring that the Suwon Youth Festival concluded without any safety incidents. In particular, it demonstrated the potential of an AI-based, real-time communication safety management system, moving beyond conventional one-way approaches centered on walkie-talkies and CCTVs.

A VIRNECT official said,

“This case marks the beginning of a new era in which security personnel serve as direct control nodes in large-scale events and public safety management. We plan to expand the commercialization and operational cooperation model of the ‘Bodycam + Remote’ solution to local governments and security firms nationwide.”

VIRNECT previously introduced its AI density analysis and bodycam-based control system at the Songdo Beer Festival, where event organizers praised the system for significantly improving on-site safety and operational efficiency. Going forward, VIRNECT aims to expand its AI-based smart safety control ecosystem across both public and private sectors, including industrial sites, festivals, and sports events.
