Seoul AI Business Cooperative Unveils AI-Based Disaster Prevention Plan
Choi Eun-soo, chairman of the Seoul AI Business Cooperative, presented AI-based strategies to prevent major industrial accidents at the “Forum on Preventing Major Disasters Using AI and System Technologies” held in Meeting Room 8 of the National Assembly Hall on the 29th.
The forum was co-hosted by the People Power Party Policy Committee and Rep. Kim So-hee (Environment and Labor Committee) and attended by government officials as well as key figures from the construction, manufacturing, and shipbuilding industries.
At the event, Chairman Choi pointed out, “Most deaths from industrial accidents occur in the construction sector, small businesses, and among older workers. Falls and entrapment accidents account for nearly half of these fatalities.”
He emphasized, “To prevent major accidents specific to each industry, it is essential to integrate advanced technologies such as Generative AI, IoT, and Physical AI. A technology-driven intelligent safety management system offers a practical solution not only for enhancing industrial safety but also for reducing serious accidents.”
