Miso Information Technology Recognized for Technical Excellence, Smart MDQ Data Quality Diagnostic Earns Top GS Certification

As the adoption of generative AI accelerates, the importance of data quality is growing more than ever. In particular, in medical, healthcare, and manufacturing environments, inaccurate or incomplete data can undermine the reliability of diagnosis, treatment, and process optimization, ultimately determining the success or failure of AI-driven innovation. As a result, interest in data quality is increasing across both government and industry.

Micro Information Technology (CEO Nam Sang-do), a multimodal data platform company, announced on the 30th that its data quality assessment service, Smart MDQ, has received the highest grade of nationally recognized GS (Good Software) certification from the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL).

GS certification is a national system that evaluates the quality of domestic software based on standards set by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Smart MDQ achieved top-level scores across nine evaluation categories, including functional suitability, performance efficiency, and usability. With this certification, Smart MDQ becomes eligible for designation as an excellent procurement product, strengthening its foundation for entry into the public sector market. The certification was achieved as part of the “Hybrid Work Environment Workers AI Assistant and Healthcare Service” technology development project supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology Planning and Evaluation.

Smart MDQ provides the following key capabilities:

  • Support for securing high-quality data for AI model training

  • Verification of accuracy between metadata and actual data

  • Enhanced security through industry-first CSAP certification in the data quality assessment domain

  • Domain-specific data quality analysis and improvement for sectors such as healthcare, public services, and manufacturing

  • Support for data-driven decision-making

Micro Information Technology is expanding its data quality management capabilities across the full lifecycle of large language models (LLMs), including development, deployment, operation, monitoring, and optimization, through its multimodal data platforms such as SmartBIG and Actify Engineering (LLMOps). The company has further strengthened its competitiveness in the public sector by obtaining key certifications, including K-PaaS compatibility certification, Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) certification, and GS certification.

“The GS certification officially verifies the stability and reliability of Smart MDQ,” said Nam Sang-do, CEO of Micro Information Technology. “We will continue to support digital transformation by providing a stable supply of high-quality data and enhancing the value of data utilization across both the public and private sectors.”

Micro Information Technology has built extensive experience and reference cases in multimodal data platforms and AI agent-based solutions. Its technologies are currently supplied to major domestic institutions, including Yonsei Medical Center, Gangbuk Samsung Hospital, Chonnam National University Hospital, Korea Expressway Corporation, and Hyundai Steel, demonstrating reliability across healthcare, public, and industrial sectors.

Recently, the company was also designated as an “AI Factory Specialized Company” in the construction and manufacturing sectors. In addition, its AI-based risk assessment and critical accident prevention solution, SafeWE 2.0, is expanding into the safety management market amid growing government and societal interest.
