FUNZIN Showcases KWM’s Technological Maturity and Scalability at the 2025 Defense Industry Parts and Materials Equipment Exhibition

FUNZIN to Showcase AI Defense Technologies at the 2025 Defense Industry Parts and Materials Equipment Exhibition

FUNZIN, a defense AI technology company, announced on the 7th that it will participate in the “2025 Defense Industry Parts and Materials Equipment Exhibition” to be held at the Changwon Convention Center on the 9th.

At the exhibition, FUNZIN will operate a booth under the theme “AI Battlefield Powered by Kill-Web Matching (KWM)” and present its defense technology and vision from multiple perspectives as an innovative player in the defense industry.

In particular, the company will join the “Korea Defense Innovation Company 100 Theme Zone” organized by the Defense Technology Promotion Research Institute, where it will highlight its core technologies, KWM and Eagle Eye.

KWM is an AI-based command and control system that automates the entire process—from target detection and weapon matching to attack commands—by integrating real-time ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) assets. It has demonstrated successful pilot operations through the Army’s Tiger Boost Project and achieved a technology readiness level (TRL) of 6–7.

Eagle Eye, also on display, is an AI synthetic data generation platform that recently passed the military fit evaluation by the Army Artificial Intelligence Center and has completed its delivery.

FUNZIN has also been selected to present at the “Defense Industry Innovation Company Investment Briefing” on the 10th, where it will share insights with investors and officials regarding its technological maturity, global market potential, and future business expansion plans.

The company will further introduce the scalability of KWM technology to various operational domains, including:

  • KWM-onP (thermal system)

  • KWM-Ocelot

  • KWM-ARDFNS (air defense system)

FUNZIN will also participate as a presenter in the “Advanced Technology Introduction Session of the Defense Innovation Company 100 Project” held on the same day, where it will provide a detailed explanation of its AI-based command decision support system.

During this session, the company will discuss future battlefield response strategies, focusing on the conceptual framework, development goals, and roadmap for the evolution toward a large-scale Super KWM system.

“We expect many military and defense officials to attend the exhibition held in celebration of Defense Industry Day,” said Kim Deuk-hwa, CEO of FUNZIN. “We plan to explore ways to accelerate the deployment of KWM in collaboration with them.”

Meanwhile, FUNZIN is accelerating the advancement of KWM technology through partnerships with various defense organizations and recently participated in the ‘AI Week’ event hosted by the Army Information and Communication School, where it shared the strategic value of KWM.
