Miso Information Technology registers 10 new healthcare patents

 

Focused investment in medical data analysis and AI-integrated healthcare

Miso Information Technology (CEO Dong Wook Ahn) announced on the 17^th that it has received patent registration decisions from the Korean Intellectual Property Office for 10 new patents related to healthcare and multimodal big data platforms.

Miso Information Technology has been making significant annual investments in technology development in the fields of healthcare, data platforms, and manufacturing. The 10 newly registered technology patents with the Korean Intellectual Property Office include:

• An automated system for collecting and classifying online big data using ontology to detect early signals of future infectious disease outbreaks

• An integrated biosurveillance management system designed for epidemiological investigations

• A method for generating rules to structure unstructured hospital data

• A management server utilizing a multi-chatbot module

• A method for detecting anomalies

• A method for inferring the intent of messages

• A virtual assistant device

• A method for controlling manufacturing equipment through voice recognition

• SMART OFW process

• A method for controlling manufacturing equipment through speaker verification

These patents focus on digital healthcare and AI convergence technologies.

Miso Information Technology is expanding from a focus on integrated medical data and clinical research solutions to the big data platform business. These newly registered patents encompass essential AI convergence technologies for hospitals, public institutions, and manufacturing companies. The technologies have been integrated into Miso Information Technology’s AI solutions, including the multimodal data platforms ‘SmartBig’ and ‘SmartAL,’ as well as ‘MisoBot,’ ‘SmartFDC,’ ‘DataScan,’ and ‘SmartMDQ,’ enhancing technological development and innovation.

Miso Information Technology is currently (as of the end of January) working on more than 100 patent applications, including more than 30 patent registrations, both domestically and internationally, and has been recognized for its AI technology, including being continuously designated as an excellent corporate research institute by the Ministry of Science and ICT, receiving GMP certification for medical devices from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and K-PaaS certification. It was the first in the field of data quality diagnostics to obtain cloud security certification.
