Intellivix partners with Genetec to launch full-scale entry into the global AI security market

MOU for channel and technology partnership… Anticipated synergy between generative vision AI technology and integrated physical security platform

Intellivix, a leading company specializing in generative vision AI (co-CEOs EunSoo Choi and Junghoon Jang), announced on the 11th that it has signed a channel and technology partnership with Genetec, a global leader in unified physical security platforms (headed by Seungje Yoon, Country Manager of Genetec Korea)

The agreement was signed at Intellivix’s headquarter in Bangbae-dong, Seoul. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to strengthen their collaboration in the global AI security market. In particular, Intellivix aims to accelerate its entry into the global market by integrating its proprietary generative vision AI technology-such as access control AI and video surveillance AI-into Genetec’s Security Center platform.

Intellivix explained that its safety AI, currently developed in-house, is already being exported and utilized on Japan’s JR railway lines. The company added that export discussions are also underway in countries such as the Philippines, Indonesica, Bangladesh, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom.

Genetec was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada. The company serves customers in 159 countries through an extensive network of system integrators, certified channel partners, and consultants across more than 80 countries. Genetec’s flagship product, Security Center, is an open-architecture platform that unifies IP-based video management systems (VMS), access control, automatic license plate recognition (ALPR), communications, and analytics.

Through this partnership, the companies plan to integrate Intellivix’s advanced AI technology into Genetec’s on-premises unified security platform, Security Center, as well as its cloud-based physical security service, Security Center SaaS, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Specifically, Intellivix’s generative vision AI solutions, AI cameras (VixCam), AI edge boxes (VixOne), and biometric access control devices will be integrated with Genetec’s solutions. This integration will enable Genetec’s partners to offer a wider range of advanced security solutions to their customers by leveraging Intellivix’s AI products and technologies.

In particular, by combining Genetec’s cloud-based security service (Security Center SaaS) with Intellivix’s generative vision AI technology, the partnership is expected to deliver a more flexible and scalable security operations environment. This will enable organizations to build a hybrid security infrastructure that spans both on-premises and cloud systems, enhancing overall security through real-time data analysis and AI-driven automated response capabilities.

Eun Soo Choi, CEO of Intellivix, stated, “By combining our advanced AI technology with Genetec’s Security Center platform, we can build a more innovative physical security system,” adding, “This collaboration with Genetec will serve as a stepping stone for Intellivix to grow into a global company.”
