Funzin, a leading defense AI company, is set to launch a full-scale push into the global market.
Funzin will participate in Avalon 2025, the
international airshow taking place in Melbourne, Australia from the 25th
to the 30th of this month.
The Avalon International Airshow is Australia's largest airshow and defense industry exhibition, held every two years.
Funzin, the first Korean AI company to participate in the Avalon Airshow, will showcase its AI-based command decision support system, KWM (Kill-Web Matching), at the exhibition.
KWM is a defense AI solution that identifies enemy targets on the battlefield and recommends the optimal combination of weapons. Its technological capabilities were proven when it was successfully demonstrated in the Army-led Army Tiger Boost Project in June last year.
Through this exhibition, Funzin aims to demonstrate the global competitiveness of KWM and actively pursue expansion into international markets.
In particular, the company plans to tailor its approach to
reflect the Australian battlefield environment, aiming to enhance local
customer understanding and assess export potential.
Funzin will also unveil, for the first time in an overseas
exhibition, its ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance)
integration capability that supports sensor-to-shooter execution, along with
its synthetic data generation platform, Eagle-Eye.
Eagle Eye is a platform that generates synthetic data with
minimal information in the defense sector, where data collection is challenging.
It provides high-precision data that reflects factors such as weather, time,
meteorological conditions, and terrain.
A representative from Funzin stated, "At this airshow, we aim to strengthen technological exchange and cooperation with domestic and international companies to lay the groundwork for entering the global defense AI market."
Deuk Hwa Kim, CEO of Funzin, also stated, "As the importance and value of software have been proven in modern warfare, we expect Funzin's outstanding technological capabilities to attract significant attention in the global market as well."
