[AW 2025] Virnect showcases next-generation smart factory combining AI and XR
Virnect participated in Automation World 2025, AW 2025, held from March 12 to 14 at COEX in Seoul, and unveiled its automation solutions for smart manufacturing.
Automation World 2025 is Asia’s largest exhibition specializing
in smart factories and automation industries. This year’s exhibition is held
across the entire COES exhibition hall for three days, from March 12 to 14,
with over 50 companies participating in approximately 2,200 booths.
At this exhibition, Virnect highlighted its robot-based automatic hazard detection system and AI-based gauge recognition technology. Virnect has prepared various demos and live demonstrations to let visitors experience smart factory solutions that drive digital transformation in manufacturing. Notably, ‘VisionX,’ which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, was also unveiled. Developed in collaboration with Model Solution, this AI-powered smart safety glasses provide real-time data analysis and worker assistance in industrial environments.
Virnect’s robot-based automatic hazard detection system is an
AI solution that patrols manufacturing sites, detects workers’ conditions in
real-time, and automatically identifies potential hazards. It can instantly
detect abnormal situations such as worker falls or the absence of safety gear
and immediately alert managers. Through unmanned monitoring, it significantly
enhances workplace safety in industrial environments.
The AI-based gauge recognition system utilizes a PTZ camera to
automatically analyze the position and angle of indicator needles on equipment,
detecting abnormalities to prevent accidents. This technology helps prevent
equipment failures and accidents in advance while maximizing the efficiency of
maintenance and inspections.
Virnect also showcases various smart factory solutions that
integrate AI and XR. The XR-based quality inspection solution, ‘Twyn,’ enhances
efficiency in quality inspections during the production process. The remote
collaboration solution, ‘Remote,’ enables real-time support and problem-solving
in industrial settings. Additionally, the XR content creation platform, ‘Make/View,’
provides immersive simulations tailored to manufacturing environments.
“We will take this exhibition as an opportunity to further strengthen our
position in the smart manufacturing and automation industries and accelerate
our entry into the global market,” said a representative of Virnect. ”We will
lead the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry with innovative
solutions that combine robots and AI technology.”
This year's AW 2025 consists of the International Factory Automation
Exhibition (AIMEX), the Smart Factory Expo, and the Korea Vision Show. A total
of 100 professional sessions will be held at this exhibition through various
side events, including the 2025 AI Autonomous Manufacturing Innovation Forum,
the 2025 Industrial Intelligence Conference, and the AI Machine Vision
Technology Seminar.
