Xiilab acquired the highest grade of national certified synthetic data quality ‘Class A’

 



Xiilab has received the highest grade in the Data Quality Certification (DQ Certification), a project organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Agency. DQ Certification is a system for evaluating and certifying data quality in accordance with the Base Act on the promotion of the data industry and the promotion of data use.

In this project, Xiilab certified the data of ‘LVM Automobile’ and ‘Logo’ and received a Class A rating from Wisestone, a leading Korean data quality certification agency, in the process of proving the quality of about 20,000 object and labelling data.

X-GEN is a synthetic data generation platform that automatically generates more than 100 pieces of data per minute by reproducing various variables and scenarios such as weather conditions, time, and camera angle. This allows users to save time and money and efficiently build datasets for AI training.

With this data quality certification, Xiilab has achieved the first-ever case in Korea where synthetically generated data has been recognized for its quality in an objective evaluation of the reliability and value of self-generated data.

Lee Moon Kyu, the head leader of Xiilab, said “The Class A data quality certification is a result of our proven data generation and management technology,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to the development of the industry by securing high-quality data to address the problem of AI and data shortage.

“Xiilab’s LVM synthetic dataset has presented new possibilities for efficiently obtaining high-quality data required for AI learning,” said Lee Young Seok, CEP of Wisestone. “It is expected to greatly contribute to the development of AI technology by generating high-quality data reflecting various variables to speed up the development of AI models and improve accuracy, while also safely generating a variety of data, including rare cases and dangerous situations.”
