Two Companies Participating in Gyeongnam TP’s On-Device AI Service Demonstration Project Win Innovation Awards at CES
Gyeongnam Techno Park (Gyeongnam TP) announced on the 9th that Mobilint Co., Ltd. and IntelliVIX Co., Ltd., both participating in the On-Device AI Service Demonstration and Diffusion Project supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and implemented by Gyeongnam TP, won CES Innovation Awards at CES 2026. The awards were granted based on a comprehensive evaluation of technological innovation, marketability, and overall completeness.
Mobilint received the Innovation Award for its high-performance, low-power edge AI acceleration technology based on domestically developed AI semiconductors (NPUs). This technology enables real-time AI processing at the device level, moving away from a server-centric architecture, and is regarded as a key enabler for accelerating the commercialization of on-device AI services in areas such as disaster response, safety, and video analytics.
IntelliVIX was recognized for its innovation in next-generation AI monitoring technology that combines intelligent video analysis with a Vision Language Model (VLM). The company received high praise for its ability to automatically analyze video-based events, explain and summarize situations in natural language, reduce false alarms, and significantly improve monitoring efficiency.
Both companies are currently participating in the On-Device AI Service Demonstration and Diffusion Project led by Gyeongnam TP, jointly promoting demonstrations in disaster and safety applications, including early forest fire detection and autonomous safety monitoring based on domestically developed AI semiconductors.
Cho Yoo-seop, Head of the Gyeongnam Artificial Intelligence Innovation Division at Gyeongnam TP, stated, “The CES Innovation Award is a symbolic demonstration of the global competitiveness of participating companies whose technologies have been validated and advanced through the on-device AI service demonstration and diffusion project.”
