Miso Information Technology: “Execution Is the Core of AX—Advancing Globally with Data-Centric AI”

Miso Information Technology Announces Transformation into Product-Oriented AI Company and Global Expansion

Miso Information Technology (CEO Nam Sang-do), a company specializing in multimodal data, announced in its New Year’s address on the 11th that it will transform into a product-oriented AI company and pursue expansion into global markets.

The company presented execution of AI transformation (AX), expansion into manufacturing-centered industries, and global growth as its key strategic goals for 2026.

Chairman Ahn Dong-wook stated, “The year 2026 will mark our transition from a manpower-driven service company to a product-oriented AI company. Through this shift, we aim to establish a sustainable growth structure and evolve into a company capable of competing in global markets.”

In particular, Miso Information Technology is targeting ₩30 billion in revenue and ₩6 billion in operating profit in 2026, which will mark the 20th anniversary of its founding. The company also plans to accelerate preparations for a KOSDAQ listing and expand its global business footprint.

“Having strengthened our product competitiveness through continued R&D investment, we will now focus on entering global markets through packaged licenses and partner ecosystems,” Chairman Ahn said. “The transition to a product-oriented structure is a core strategy to improve both profitability and corporate value.”

Miso Information Technology has been building key capabilities required for AX execution, centered on its multimodal data platform SmartBIG, LLM operations platform ACTIC, and next-generation AI-driven manufacturing process platform DAXI.

Son Jin-ho, CTO of Miso Information Technology, emphasized that “the success of AX depends not on adopting the latest AI models, but on data integration, data quality, and sustained operational capability.”

“ACTIC, our LLMOps platform, enables the rapid and practical implementation of generative AI services on top of the SmartBIG multimodal data platform,” he said. “It is not a technology designed to build AI once, but a product built for continuous operation and improvement in real-world environments. Miso Information Technology is evolving into an end-to-end AX platform company that spans multimodal data processing, LLM operations, and data quality management.”

As a result, demand for data- and AI-driven solutions is rapidly expanding beyond healthcare into industries such as manufacturing, public services, and finance. In particular, the company plans to generate tangible outcomes in 2026 by sequentially rolling out domain-specific AI solutions, starting with the manufacturing sector.

The company also reported visible progress in Southeast Asia and is currently pursuing a two-track global strategy, expanding from Europe toward the North American market. Over the next three years, Miso Information Technology aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of K-software, targeting a corporate valuation exceeding ₩400 billion on a global basis.

“Companies are now moving beyond simply introducing AI to actively applying it in the field,” said Nam Sang-do, CEO of Miso Information Technology. “Miso Information Technology is emerging as a product-driven company that delivers practical, domain-specific AX implementations.”
