SBA Highlights Startup Achievements Across Bio and AI Sectors
This year, ten promising startups nurtured through the Seoul Startup Hub gathered at a single venue.
The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) announced on the 5th that it held a performance-sharing event for “2025 Seoul Startup Hub Together” on the 27th at Seoul Startup Hub Chang-dong in Dobong-gu, Seoul.
The event was organized to share the growth stories of startups discovered and supported this year through SBA’s startup hub programs, including Seoul Startup Hub Chang-dong and Seongsu, Seoul Startup Center operations, and the Super Gap Program. Companies from diverse sectors—such as bio and healthcare, deep tech, eco-friendly materials, and artificial intelligence (AI)—presented their problem-solving approaches and market strategies, with a focus on ecosystem connectivity.
During the performance presentations, ten companies selected through Seoul Startup Hub Chang-dong and Seongsu, Seoul Startup Center Dongjak, and the Super Gap Project introduced their technologies and achievements. At the subsequent awards ceremony, DearC, Geogrid, Pharmarobotics, and Superb AI were recognized as award recipients.
Participating centers also shared their achievements for the year. Seoul Startup Hub Chang-dong reported that it strengthened marketing and new media support to closely assist startups throughout the entire market entry process. This included influencer-linked live commerce, digital marketing consulting for global expansion, and product branding strategies.
Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu focused on fostering social ventures that reflect regional characteristics. It concentrated on supporting companies that create social value through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and urban problem-solving efforts.
The Seoul Startup Center, which oversees the startup ecosystem in southern Seoul, provided not only workspace support but also comprehensive growth assistance through Demo Days, startup education programs, and networking initiatives. It also facilitated open innovation and connections to global expansion programs.
SBA explained that it has promoted “super-gap open innovation projects” across various business sectors through its three centers. It has also begun building an ecosystem in super-gap fields through the commercialization of R&D technologies and global expansion initiatives.
In addition to the presentations, the event featured an XR 3D drawing workshop and a networking day. During the XR 3D drawing workshop, entrepreneurs visualized ideas by creating three-dimensional drawings using tablets. At the networking session, open innovation representatives from 12 large and mid-sized companies—including LG Electronics, Mercedes-Benz Korea, Oracle Korea, NAVER Cloud, and Hoban Construction—participated to explore opportunities for practical collaboration.
