Park Ji-hwan, CEO of THINKFORBL, said, “In the AI era, competitiveness now depends on the ability to ensure AI reliability.”

THINKFORBL Hosts 3rd TRAIN Symposium on “Reliable Artificial Intelligence”

THINKFORBL (CEO Park Ji-hwan) held the 3rd TRAIN Symposium at COEX on the 1st, focusing on the theme of “Reliable Artificial Intelligence (AI)” with participation from experts and speakers from Korea and China.

The symposium served as an exchange platform linked to TRAITHON, an AI reliability hackathon. Its goal was to bring together policymakers, researchers, and industry professionals from both countries to strengthen cooperation in areas such as regulations, standards, education, and industrial implementation.

Opening speeches were delivered by Chung Ho-won, CEO of The Lovell; Park Ji-hwan, CEO of THINKFORBL; and Koo Xiaodong, Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
In the first session, presentations were given by Eric Davis, Head of AI Tech Collaboration; Kim Kyung-hoon, AI Safety Leader at Kakao; and Lee Sang-eun, Policy Lead at LG AI Research Institute.

The shared theme among speakers was the importance of AI reliability.

“TRAITHON is also a process to demonstrate why the AI services we create can be used responsibly,” said Park Ji-hwan, CEO of THINKFORBL. “Agent robots should evolve into intelligence that can understand contextual reasoning rather than simply executing single commands.”

This year’s TRAITHON is expected to attract 192 students from 45 universities nationwide. A total of 82 students across 35 teams participated in the orientation held at COEX, and the final round will take place in February next year. The winners will receive cash prizes and internship opportunities at ten leading Korean IT companies.

Notably, for this year’s competition, the National Information Society Agency (NIA) granted partial access to private datasets for AI model training.

In his closing remarks, CEO Park Ji-hwan emphasized that in the era of AI, “reliability will become a key measure of competitiveness.” He added,

“We have an obligation to verify and ensure that AI systems operate correctly.”
