ThinkForBL Recruiting University and Graduate Students Nationwide for the ‘First Triton’ Competition

Reliable Artificial Intelligence International Solidarity (TRAIN) and ThinkForBL, a company specializing in AI reliability technology, announced that they will accept applications for participation in the 1st Triton competition for university and graduate students nationwide.

The competition is a type of hackathon event in which teams of university and graduate students address AI reliability topics. It begins with an orientation at COEX in Seoul on October 1 and continues until February 2026.

While existing hackathons focus on red-team problem discovery activities, Triton focuses on preventing AI reliability issues. It is the world’s first competition that evaluates reliability verification outputs in the AI development process.

Participating teams are required to develop AI models that can detect clickbait, hate speech, and phishing content using data from AI Hub. The A.X 4.0 model developed by SK Telecom, a large-scale Korean language model, can be used for fine-tuning.

Each team must then perform the required activities for each stage of the AI development cycle and prepare related outputs to ensure AI reliability. The final ranking will be determined based on the evaluation of each team’s reliability-related activities, the degree of role-sharing and execution among members, and the overall completeness of collaboration.

The organizers plan to assign professional mentors to provide intensive guidance during the three-month final round.

The top six teams in the final round will receive certificates and prize money. The prize amounts will be determined based on international standards related to AI reliability. In addition, several AI companies plan to hire top prize winners as interns to help them gain practical experience.
