CUDO COMMUNICATION Showcases Next-Generation Distributed Big Data Appliance at MongoDB.local Seoul 2025

CUDO COMMUNICATION (CEO Kim Yong-sik), a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) security and data integration, announced on the 12th that it participated in the global roadshow “MongoDB.local Seoul 2025”, hosted by MongoDB Korea on the 3rd, where it unveiled its next-generation distributed big data appliance.

With 25 years of expertise in vision AI and data/application integration, CUDO COMMUNICATION has established itself as a specialized company capable of processing large-scale video and event data. At the event, the company addressed the challenges of data management in AI and big data environments and presented a distributed appliance as a new architecture designed to overcome these limitations.

Today, enterprises are facing complex challenges such as a surge in multimodal data, increased GPU dependency, rising cloud transition costs, and growing concerns over data sovereignty. To meet these demands, CUDO COMMUNICATION is developing an appliance built on an open-source-based combination of hardware and software to minimize vendor dependency.

“What AI and big data companies need is not just storage, but a new architecture optimized for multimodal data processing and AI/ML integration,” said Kim Kwang-ki, Executive Director of the Solution Business Division. “The distributed big data appliance we introduced is designed for speed, cost-efficiency, and stability.”

CUDO COMMUNICATION plans to continue leveraging MongoDB as a core technology to deliver solutions that integrate document data models with AI-enabled data platforms, further strengthening its presence in the global data management market.
