Virnect Unveils XR Holographic Display ‘HoloX’ at 2025 Food Week Korea… “Delivering Immersive, Realistic Content”

Virnect participated in “2025 Food Week Korea (20th Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition),” held at COEX in Seoul for four days from Wednesday, October 29 to Saturday, November 1.

Virnect is a global technology company that drives innovation in industrial sites by integrating robotics, AI, and XR technologies. Since the late 2010s, the company has been developing industrial solutions based on XR technology and is accelerating digital transformation (DX) across manufacturing, logistics, defense, and other sectors through next-generation automation solutions that combine AI and robotics.

Recently, Virnect has been focusing on developing robotic automation technologies for the smart transformation of the food industry, supporting hygienic and efficient food production through AI-based vision recognition and precision control technologies.

The company is also working with global robot manufacturers to build customized robot solutions and smart automation systems optimized for the food sector. Based on AI-generated insights, Virnect is creating an intelligent process environment in which robots make judgments and perform tasks autonomously on-site.

At 2025 Food Week Korea, Virnect showcased HoloX, an XR holographic display that uses a 4K transparent LCD. HoloX is an immersive solution optimized for promoting new food products and displaying brand content. It delivers realistic experiences through real-time integration with filming systems and 3D stereoscopic imagery, making it suitable for use in pop-up stores, exhibition halls, and corporate lobbies.

The solution enhances visual immersion through a state-of-the-art 4K transparent display, realistically expressing the texture and color of products. Instead of static images, it provides lifelike product presentations using 3D stereoscopic content and supports interactive configurations that attract visitors’ attention. Another advantage is that it can promote products and brands without space limitations by linking to various external devices and allowing flexible installation.

Meanwhile, “Coex Food Week” has rebranded as “Food Week Korea” to mark its 20th anniversary. This year’s event showcased the future of the food industry, covering premium domestic and international foods, alternative and next-generation foods, manufacturing innovation, smart distribution, and palm technology. Special themed zones included the Healthy Leisure Collection, House of Sauce, Gourmet & Specialty Food Collection, and the Liquor Lounge. Exhibition halls were organized into:
▲ Hall A: Domestic & Overseas General Food Hall
▲ Hall B: Fancy Food & Trend Exhibition Hall
▲ Hall C: HORECA & K-Food Tech Hall
